How? You relax and I make the music happen for you, or I teach you how to do it yourself.
The choice is yours.
Why am I a bit different to a lot of other musicians? Because I’ve helped a REALLY wide variety of musicians.
In recent years I’ve conducted the Royal Northern Sinfonia, had the black metal band Winterfylleth ask me to join them, and worked as a musical director for Faye Tozer of Steps.
Then there was the time I gave Lenny Henry a piano lesson, wrote an orchestration for Finnish metal stars Sonata Arctica, did some arranging work for Euro Disney, and was musical director for a production of West Side Story.
Things are certainly varied!
I’ve led community choirs for more than 20 years, including for the BBC and Magic Radio. Here’s the time that led to working with Gareth Malone.
Now with my online courses, I’m also passing on my best tips to frustrated musicians who have always wanted to learn how to read music or tick something off their bucket list by learning to play piano.
Of course if you would simply need a professional to make the musical magic happen FOR you so you can concentrate on something else (the admin or the cake, let’s face it, it’s cake…) then that’s possible too.
